Why do the patterned sheets feel different than the plain sheets?

Our patterned sheets such as the Charcoal Balboa Sheet Sets go through a slightly different manufacturing process than the solid color sheet sets. However, they're just as soft, easy to care for, effortless to style and also responsibly made.
