How often should I wash my comforter?

Like with most of our bedding, that question depends on how often you use it. If you have pets that sleep in the bed, that will also impact the frequency of washings. It's recommended to wash your comforter 2-3 times per year, more if you've got pets.  Doctors also recommend cleaning all of your bedding after someone has been sick. 

If you're worried about difficulty washing the product, we recommend using a duvet cover, as it adds an extra layer of protection, is less bulky and is easier to wash than a comforter. Duvets can be washed monthly, and the duvet insert should only need cleaning once or twice a year.
